Itinerary -


Day 01:


Arrive Leh. Greet & transfer to hotel. Afternoon short tour of Leh city (3,500m/ 11,500ft.) visiting the imposing Leh Palace & Shanti Stupa. Overnight in hotel.

Day 02:


Explore Indus valley. After breakfast set off for a day excursion to Indus valley; visit Shey Palace, Sindhu Ghat, Thikse and Hemis gompa (monastery). O/n in hotel.

Day 03:


Leh – Uletokpo. Morning drive to Uletokpo (3hr.), en route visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic hill & Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar river). O/n in Resort.

Day 04:


Uletokpo – Leh. Today we retrace to Leh, en route visit the 1000 years old Alchi temple, Buddha statue at Likir & Hall of Fame. Arrive and check-in to hotel for overnight.

Day 05:

Leh – Nubra valley. Early morning drive to Nubra via Khardung la pass (5,602mts./ 18,380ft.) - world’s highest motorable road, is also highlight of your tour. Afternoon enjoy the ride of double humped camel on the white sand dunes. O/n in fixed tented camp.

Day 06:


Nubra – Leh. Morning visit Deskit gompa overlooking the valley. Later retrace to Leh via Khardung la. O/n in hotel.

Day 07:

Leh – Pangong lake - Leh. Start early morning for a day trip to visit Pangong Tso or “Hollow Lake” (Asia’s largest saltwater lake). Stunning drive over crossing Chang la (5,300mts./ 17,800ft.). Explore the lake and retrace to Leh for overnight.

Day 08:


Leh. Morning visit Stok Palace museum and Ladakhi home. Rest of the day free for personnel exploration & shopping. O/n in hotel. Option:- Rafting on Indus.

Day 09:


Depart Leh. Morning transfer to KBR airport .

The Leh Monastery and Gompha - 12 of them near the River Indus cannot be missed. Lamayuru - the oldest monastery is believed to have been a sacred site for the pre-Buddhist religion known as Bon. The Spituk Monastery, Shanti Stupa, Namgyal Tsemo Gompa, Shankar gompa, Shey Gompa and Leh Mosque an exquisite work of the Turko-Iranian architecture are worth a visit.
